In case of the authors consent to the reproduction of a particular item, you will have to retain the information that you downloaded from this page, and reproduce their copyright regulations as well as other commercial property right contained therein. The Swiss law applies in any arising legal cases. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland.

Your interest in renting
Through the selection and the completion of the form to apply for renting a picture.
We will contact you
For security reasons we will verify your renting interest and verify your address.
The rental contract
Will be ratified with a written contract. If the contract is finalised, the piece of art will be conveyed for with charges. The responsibility for the piece of art begins at the order date and ends with the adequate return of the work. Should the delivery and montage of the work be arranged for by our party, then the responsibility for the work starts on the date of delivery. If we collect the picture at your house, the responsibility ends then.
Term of lease
Is at least 6 months. If it remains uncancelled, it will run on indefinetely.
The rental fee
Is composed of a yearly interest of 5 % (per year) of the price of the work in addition to an insurance fee and administration costs.
Transport, Delivery, Revokation
For a contribution towards expenses we will deliver the rented piece of art to your home and put it into place. We are also ready to pick it up under the same condition.
Billing
The rent is principally to be paid before the rental period starts. The first six months are to be payed in cash at the moment when the art work is picked. Although the rental fees of the picture lending library are given in monthly rates, the rental fees are to be payed biannually. We will send out the bills with a payment slip. They will have to be payed within thirty days.
Termination
The rental contract may be cancelled at any point in time after the minimal rental period of six months passes. The cancellation period is 30 days.
Our rentees
Are natural, settled and full-aged persons who possess convenient premises. The residence permit of foreign rentees in Switzerland ought to be longer than the arranged rental period for the piece of art. Legal entities, such as companies and authorities, have to act through a natural person.
The site for the piece of art
Will be recorded in the rental contract. The piece of art may only be stored in these rooms of the rentee and may not be passed on to third parties.
Appropriate premises
For the storing of the piece of art during a rental the rental period have to display the following features:
Normal to dry humidity
Minor fluctuation in room temperature
Minimal exposure to light (no direct sunlight)
These following premises will not be considered as fit places for rentals:
Kitchens
Wet areas such as indoor aquatic centers and bathrooms
Premises including no, or only temporary heating
Presmises located in areas which are environmentally unstable or in threat of war
We expect that the rented pieces of art
are treated with dilligence and that measurements are taken to preserve it from loss and damage.
Damages
are to be reported immediately. The causal agent is liable for them.
Insurance
The pieces of art are insured against storm and tempest as well as larceny. The costs of insurance are integrated into the rental price.
Option right
If a third party expresses the wish to purchase a work that you are currently renting, the rental contract will be cancelled by us on the next possible date. However, as rentee you do possess the option right on the rented object.
When a rented picture is bought by the rentee
the rental fee of the first half year will be deducted from the vending price.
Possible adjustments of the rental fees
Are made on the occasion of significant changes in value. They will lead to alterations of the contract in written form
